How does the process work?

Complete the applicationProvide your personal information, passport details, country of residence, contact information, occupation, source of income, and expected account activity.
Prepare the power of attorneymono provides the required power-of-attorney text and instructions. You must have the document notarized and, where required, apostilled or legalized in your country. The original power of attorney must then be sent by courier to Georgia.
Application submissionOnce the original power of attorney has arrived in Georgia, the authorized representative submits the account application to TBC Bank on your behalf.
Bank reviewTBC Bank reviews the application. Communication with the bank takes place through its general customer support. During the review, the bank may ask additional questions or request documents confirming your occupation, business activity, income, source of funds, residential address, or intended use of the account.
Approval and account activationIf the application is approved, the authorized representative signs the required banking documents and activates the account on your behalf.
Access to banking servicesAfter activation, you receive access to the TBC Bank mobile application and a digital bank card. All further communication and banking matters are handled directly with TBC Bank through its general customer support and mobile application. Service fee and payment terms

The mono service fee is paid in two parts: an advance to begin the process, and the remainder after the account has been successfully opened. If TBC Bank declines the application, the advance payment is non-refundable because it covers application preparation, support, and the work of the authorized representative — the remaining part is not charged. Notarization, apostille or legalization where required, and delivery of the original power of attorney to Georgia are paid separately by the client. Bank account package fees and other charges established by TBC Bank are also paid separately. You’ll see the current service fee when you start your application.

How long does it take?

The process begins after the required information has been provided and the original power of attorney has arrived in Georgia. The total timeframe depends on document delivery, the bank’s review, and whether additional information is requested. mono cannot guarantee a specific approval date because the application is reviewed according to TBC Bank’s internal compliance procedures.

Is account approval guaranteed?

No. mono prepares the application, organizes submission through the authorized representative, and supports the process, but the final decision is made solely by TBC Bank. Payment for mono’s services does not guarantee account approval.
